Anne Hyde is William R. Hochman Professor of History at Colorado College. She also serves as Director of the Crown Faculty Development Center and has chaired the History, Race and Ethnic Studies, and Southwest Studies programs. She is the author of the Bancroft Prize winner and Pulitzer finalist, Empires, Nations, and Families (2012). She is working on a book about mixed blood Anglo/Native children.
